Playgrounds

According to EN 1176 and EN 1177

The overall security inspection includes the following tests:

Soft Floor control - HIC (Head Injury Criterion).

Inspection of the assembly of playground equipments according to the technical sheets.

Control of the installation of equipments and the playground .

Regulation

In France, playgrounds are regulated by an implemention decree published in the official journal : decree no. 96-1136 of December 18, 1996 setting out the safety requirements relating to public playgrounds .

This decree specifies certain requirements, including those for shock-absorbing surfaces .
The EN 1176 standard - parts 1 to 11 - defines what constitutes a suitable shock-absorbing surface for playground equipments.

ACS and block control

According to EN 12572

The inspection includes the following tests:

Control of the strength of the base for the future ACS (Artificial Climbing Structure) in accordance with the structural calculations.

Testing the strength of the anchors and load-bearing capacity of the structure .

ACSs are complex installations that must meet all safety requirements before being put into service.

Assembly and geometry of the modules.

Implementation of the modules .

Materials used.

Roller skating tracks

According to NF EN 14974+A1

The inspection includes the following tests:

Flatness of the base surface.

Slopes of the base surface.

Laboratory analysis of raw materials .
